I adore this charming little chocolate shop! Inside, there's a cozy café that serves coffee and macarons, adding to its delightful ambiance. The chocolates here are truly special--each piece is beautifully designed, making them perfect for thoughtful, elegant gifts. While the chocolates are on the pricey side, their quality and presentation make them feel worth the indulgence.

Got the milk and dark hot chocolate with a side of whipped cream. Reservations highly recommended as it gets busy. Ambiance is very pretty and Christmas decor was super cute. The hot chocolate was great! Tried the white hot chocolate too. All 3 are recommended!

Stopped by Mariebelle after shopping around SoHo. We did not have a reservation but we were able to snag a spot at the cafe. We waited around 15mins for a table for 2 but I do making a reservation. While we waited we bought the hazelnut truffles which we really enjoyed. We also purchased two other chocolates that were on display in the flavor of Earl Grey and mint. The staff were all very nice they gave us samples of the chocolate with our purchase. While we were waiting for our table in the cafe we were offered hot chocolate shots. We got the cold white hot chocolate shots which was surprisingly tasty. In the cafe, we got the espresso, hot chocolate, and the milk, hot chocolate both with whipped cream on the side. We also got the Madeline and the macaroons. Everything was delicious!! The cafe was very cute and everything was giving Christmas/ holiday vibes. Definitely recommend stopping by to grab a hot chocolate!

I stopped by MarieBelle as a part of my hot chocolate exploration journey in NYC and had a pretty good time! Unfortunately I didn't make reservations at the Cacao Room and try their more elaborate hot chocolates / desserts. Nevertheless I still got to try their hot chocolates, which were more decadent than other places. The texture was more thick and felt like a dessert, more than an actual drink. It is pretty pricey for the small amount you get, but because it's so vicous the portion size was actually appropriate for me. The Spicy Hot Chocolate featured a solid 60% cacao with ancho chili, nutmeg, and cinnamon. As a fan of oaxacan/mexican hot chocolate, I enjoyed how it was spiced, but not spicy. I normally like the bitterness from the dark chocolate; however in this case, I think increasing the sweetness would complement the said spices. The Milk Hot Chocolate with 38% cacao, on the other hand, was a little too sweet for me. The store itself was beautifully decorated in a vintage European theme with blue, white, and gold accents that creates a luxurious ambience. Their chocolates were nicely presented around the space. There is a separate counter for purchasing chocolate vs the hot chocolate drinks. The Cacao Room is all the way in the back with a few tables.

They also have assortment of pastries . The store has beautiful painted chocolates for the seasons. Great place to grab gifts.

Super cute back area of a chocolate shop with sit down tables for a nice cup of rich hot chocolate! They have finger sandwiches and macarons and other desserts too! Each time I come the service is great and the hot chocolate is so good here!

My first afternoon tea in NYC and it was as good as the ones in London ! The set menu proposes unlimited tea or coffee, a soup of a day, an assortment of sandwiches, cakes and chocolates of course ! It worths the price ($70 per person) I ordered the mochachino with dark chocolate. It was amazing ! I will love to go again and try more delicious pastries !

If heaven was made of chocolate, it would be fashioned like MarieBelle. Booked a table for tea for three on a weekend celebrating life (and electricity) in New York City. So lucky to be able to get a cozy table when the intimate cafe opened at 11 AM. (Tip: They are not so booked early on Friday.) Welcomed by our fabulous host and chocolate sommelier for the experience, Johnny the Troublemaker. What a gem! So kind and so thoughtful. Gave us some fantastic recommendations and adjusted the menu to cater to our every wish. Like a magical chocolate genie. Get the MarieBelle special. A large hot or cold nonalcoholic beverage with your choice of two scones, two ganaches, two madeleines or two macarons. Has gone up from $11 to $15 since last year, but still such a great choice. Definitely get this one if you are not having the afternoon tea tower. Take my advice. You'll thank me later. Started with large Tiffany blue cups of Aztec hot chocolate so thick that you could eat/drink it with your spoon. The best seller for a reason. Decadently delicious and worth the hype. The oat and traditional scones with clotted cream and orange marmalade were so good. Reminded me of high tea when I worked in Europe many birthdays ago. The little glass dishes for the marmalade and clotted cream were so cute. The tea sandwiches were so adorable and so unique. Salmon and dill cream cheese. Beet hummus with cucumber. Endive salad with walnuts and blue cheese. Butternut squash with balsamic vinaigrette. Gruyere toasted with no ham. The ganaches were a nice bonus as was the Happy Birthday to "mom and dad" mini chocolate lava cake. Make a wish!! Truly an unexpected treat. Make a reservation if you are going on the weekend. Ask for Johnny the Troublemaker. He will treat you like a VIP. Thanks also to my fabulous Houston (via Queens) CM Jandito for always guiding me to hidden treasures that really make it Sweet to be Elite!!

What an absolutely stunning setting to have afternoon tea. I wanted something different from the afternoon tea I've had in the past (Prince Tea House, Alice's Tea Cup, King's Carriage, Russian Tea Room). It's not totally something you can compare to other experiences, especially if you'd had tea in the UK as well. But what I think distinguished MarieBelle is how simple it is. The tea list is definitely not broad, but they are honestly oh so very delicious. That chocolate black tea is *chef's kiss*. Speaking of chocolate... I definitely wish I ordered an iced chocolate, but I was already over my sugar tolerance hehe. So here my friend and I show up to our Tuesday 2pm reservation. Four other patrons occupying two other tables. One server, doing a great job juggling all of us. The afternoon tea set is $70pp. Tip, probably try to secure a bigger table to hold all those goodies and tea. Each finger sandwich and mini pastry makes a happy tongue for me, though if you're not used to more earthy tastes like beet/butternut squash, might not be your cup of tea *ba dum tss*.

What a cute, quaint cafe! I'm a sucker for afternoon teas and MarieBelle hit the spot! When you walk in you'll be in chocolate heaven as the shop has so many chocolate items in cute packaging to purchase - that alone had mouth watering lol. The actual cafe isn't big but they make it work! They have it roped off until you're able to be seated. There was one waiter working the entire cafe (that's how small it is) and his name is Johnny the Troublemaker! Now Johnny was amazing! He was never stressed by handling everything himself (he did have a helper). He was attentive, explained everything thoroughly and was engaging. I hope he is working on the day that I go back- he really enhanced our experience! He gave us a chocolate drink shot to get us started. It was so rich and decadent I wanted to drink an entire vat of it lol. We ordered mimosas and for once I have to say I actually tasted the champagne! If you've read any of my reviews you know that most places I go to don't really give you any alcohol in their drinks so this was quite the surprise. We had the afternoon tea service - I had the chocolate rose tea and it was so good. The tea service started with a small split pea soup in the cutest cup with little spoon. The soup was delicious and definitely left you wanting more. The rest of the service was typical tea service items scones, finger sandwiches, macaroons, etc. To our surprise we left there feeling quite full which hasn't happened at other teas that I've been to. I couldn't walk by through the store without buying myself a treat to go - the box of chocolates I selected was not only delicious but beautifully packaged. I wanted to savor it but just couldn't it was just that good. I can't wait to take my granddaughters there and make it a yearly event - it's so darn cute!
